Wine Event with the "Weinlaubenhof Kracher"

Wine event with the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher & Hans Schwarz on the 20th and 21st October 2017.

On 20th and 21st October 2017, we welcome the world-famous wine growers Kracher and Hans Schwarz for this special event in Chasa Montana. Alois "Luis" Kracher has created it in the 90s the Weinlaubenhof Kracher as an international cult winery for sweet wines. After his much too early death in 2007, this legacy is continued by Alois Krachter's son, Gerhard Kracher, with fulminant success. The dry white and red wines already reached the top. By the way, it was Alois Kracher, who supported at the beginning of his wine career, Hans Schwarz intensively. Already the 2002 Schwarz Rot was voted to the best Austrian red wine in the year 2004. This weekend, you have the unique opportunity to taste the wines from the two world famous vineyards and get insider knowledge from the Austrian wine scene directly from Gerhard Kracher & Hans Schwarz. For the Chasa Montana sommeliers this weekend, 18 years after we were able to welcome Alois Kracher to the very first Chasa Montana wine event in 1999, is a very special occasion. On Friday, you will be greeted by a gourmet menu from the star kitchen of our chef Bernd Fabian with wine accompaniment. Saturday afternoon, a rarity tasting with both winemakers takes place in our large wine cellar.

Saturday, 21st October at 4 pm: Rarity tasting with Gerhard Kracher and Hans Schwarz in our large wine cellar: CHF 49.00 per person
The menu on Friday and the tasting on Saturday can be booked for a package price of CHF 249.00 per person.
