Holidays in Corona times

dear guests

For 2 years we were under the influence of the Corona Pandemic. For now, it looks like it might really be over.

The Swiss Federal Council decided the following on February 16, 2022 for hotels, wellness areas and restaurants:

All measures such as compulsory certificates and masks will be lifted from February 17th, 2022. We are allowed to welcome all guests again without restrictions, which we are very happy about.

In closed cable cars and in public transport (also in the ZEGG shuttle bus), the mask requirement still applies!

We would like to point out that the 5-day isolation obligation still applies if the corona test is positive and we ask our guests to behave cautiously and respectfully towards others if they have symptoms.

We would also like to point out that around 2/3 of the Silvretta Arena ski area is on Austrian territory and the following measures will probably apply there until March 4, 2022:

Can I ski in the Silvretta Ski Arena without a certificate?

According to Austrian regulations, skiing is only possible for those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered (2G). However, there is the possibility to ski with a Samnaun day ticket only on the Swiss side without a certificate.

Is it compulsory to wear masks in the ski area?

We ask you to note that in the closed cabins and in chairlifts that are equipped with a cover, an FFP2 mask requirement only applies on the Austrian side of the ski area.

You can find more official information from Samnaun here:

We ask foreign guests to observe the rules of their home country on their return journey!

As of February 17, 2022

We reserve the right to change the rules at any time! Furthermore, we do not assume any liability for the completeness and correctness of the information, because the rules are amended frequently and quickly. We always strive to be up-to-date!
