Traumhaft "experienced" is the fantastic Samnaun mountains by mountain bike. From simply beautiful to really challenging routes, according to the degree of difficulty is signaled, the biker and pampered every day anew surprised. The bikes are Knights of the pedal as a special service of the Samnaun double-decker train to be transported for free. Is it really a nice train of the railway.

SAMNAUN-DORF - COMPATSCH
Below the Chasa Riva (Samnaun Tourism) the path starts through the Samnaun valley. Past the tennis court it leads to the bridge in Ravaisch. It continues from here across the parking site of the mountain railway valley station and along the Schergen brook as far as the bridge near Plan. Passing the local history museum "Chesa Retica" (protected trust building) and then on the old valley road to Laret, where one changes to the other side of the valley, the path leads to the sawmill in Compatsch.

LARET - MOT GROND
After a short descent from the start of the tour in Laret and then crossing the road the woodland path ascends in the direction of Clis Grond. There the way divides and the path on the left continues in a light ascent up to Mot Grond. This route is particularly suitable for beginners and families. It terminates in an open air grill site where one can relax and tarry.

COMPATSCH - SPISSERMÜHLE
Starting in Compatsch the winding route makes a gradual climb to Val Scüra. There one has a fine view of the Zanders valley and the Mütterköpfl. Shortly after entering Zanders valley, at the playground, a path on the left leads downwards and after a light descent one reaches the Spisser Mill near the frontier crossing and the customs house.

IDALP - ISCHGL
After the start on the Idalpe a gradual downhill run leads to Hohen Zirn. From there the descent becomes steeper and leads past the Pardatsch Ridge railway to Pardatsch Chapel. There the descent becomes again more gradual and leads finally in serpentine downhill to Ischgl. From there it is possible to have return transport on the Ischler mountain railways.

SAMNAUN - VAL MOTNAIDA
At the entrance to the Val Malsas the woodland path starts in the direction of Salantinas. After two sharp turns the path winds continuously in the direction of Motta Saltuorn. Along the whole way wonderful views open up of the Samnaun valley with its settlements Samnaun village, Ravaisch, Plan, Laret and Compatsch. En route there is a small unused forest hut with a bench that invites one to have a moment's rest. From the hut the path continues to the destination in Val Motnaida.

SAMNAUN LARET - CHÈ D'MOT
Beside the village of Laret the path starts a gradual ascent in direction Plan. Above Plan, at Salaatsch, it branches off towards Tischanaderet. There follows a gradient until the path divides in the directions Planer Salaas / Alp Trida Sattel and Ché d' Mot. This branch path on the left has an ascent up to an eminence at 2'014 m.

ALP TRIDER SATTEL - COMPATSCH
After the trip on the double-decker cable railway to the mountain station on the Alp Trida Sattel a fast descent to Alp Trida awaits the biker. This followed by a more gradual downhill to Unteralp. The last stretch, passing Alpstein leads back to Compatsch where the way ends behind the parish church St. Jakobus.

SAMNAUN - ZEBLASJOCH
The route begins at the exit of Samnaun village where the forest road into Val Musauna begins. After an easy gradient at the start the route becomes steeper at the first double bend. The path continues through a narrow deep gorge as far as the Zeblas meadows at 2'404 m.a.s.l. Now the valley widens and presents some lovely views of the Samnaun mountain world. After a further climb of 135 metres one arrives at the Zeblasjoch, the tour's destination.

LARET - CURSCHIGLIAS
After a short downhill run at the start of the tour from Laret and crossing the road the woodland path climbs in the direction of Clis Grond. There the route is divided into three different directions, the path to Fuorcla Curschiglias branching off to the right with an ascent to 2'137 m. At the destination, Fuorcla Curschiglias, one has a magnificent panoramic view of the Samnaun mountains as well as the peaks of the Oetz valley Alps.
